Welcome to the home of PanAm-VA's Training Center. Here we will offer various training courses/modules, and eventually live on-line training that our pilots and staff may participate in. All of these courses are voluntary and free to complete.

We are also working with other VA's that too will be participating in this training as either Instructors, or sending pilots through the training that will be offered.

This site will be updated over the next few weeks and months as training becomes available.




Current Training Modules that are now Available:

The following modules are intended for Hub Managers. However, pilots that are thinking about becoming a Hub Manager, and taking their virtual pilot career to the next level are also encouraged to complete the following:

VCAS1 Creating a New Route in VCAS
This training module will guide you step by step in creating a new route. Note: You must have access to VCAS through your VA to actually create a new route.
**PanAm-VA Staff/Pilots completing this will receive 5 Bonus Hours

VCAS2 Searching the VA Route Database in VCAS
This training module will guide you in looking at all the VA's within VAFS that operate a particular route. Completing this training will give you a better understanding on how to charge the proper ticket prices, and what the PAX demand is for a particular route based on how many other VA's are flying that same route. Note: You must have access to VCAS through your VA to actually view this information outside of the training module.
**PanAm-VA Staff/Pilots completing this training will receive 5 Bonus Hours

This tutorial will guide you on how to setup SB4 and get online flying with VATSIM
